Last year ASU came back from a deficit to defeat ULM; this year ASU will lead all the way :D

Arkansas State isn’t sitting around feeling sorry for itself.

The Indians continued preparation for their Sun Belt Conference opener, making final installments for Louisiana-Monroe Wednesday afternoon with a practice session that showed no signs of ill effects from last weekend’s disheartening defeat to Memphis.

Arkansas State (0-3) led the Tigers 35-26 with just over four minutes to play only to lose 47-35. Memphis drove 70 yards for a touchdown, returned a fumble 10 yards for another TD and added another touchdown inside the final minute for a mind-boggling finish that left the Indians in disbelief.

Following the loss, ASU coach Steve Roberts said he was concerned with how the Indians would respond to the defeat but was confident they would put it behind them.
So far, they are living up to his expectations.
