RE: What's the deal with Huffman
Trevor Huffman is no longer a candidate for the assistant coaching job (if he ever was in the first place). Just took a head coaching job for a pro team in Belgium.

Just curious as to what language that is? Is it Flemish or Dutch?

Multiple languages are spoken in Belgium. Flemish is basically Dutch with a different accent. French and/or Dutch, and even English are spoken by most. I know this because I spent time there when I was in the Army.

Thanks. When I looked at that I saw English words, Dutch words and German words. The Belgians must be pretty confused.

It's pretty common for people to be comfortable with and conversant in more than one language. Except in the US.

Yea just wait while you are in Switzerland. You have signs of all sorts freely switching between French, German, and Italian and the people there can speak them too. While I was there they also seemed to all be able to speak English though that was probably related to the tourism in the city.

Most people in Europe learn English so they can speak to each other. Otherwise they would need to learn 20 or so languages. Believe me they don’t learn it because they want to talk to US or British tourists.

I have spent quite a bit of time in Switzerland and being able to read signs in different languages is a long way from knowing a language. I do know the German word for beer however. Spanish too.

Hard to believe it's been 17 years since Huffman last played for Kent State. That Elite 8 run is ancient history now. Many of the kids Senderoff is recruiting now weren't even born.
