Ever since our schedule was released, this has been the one game that has scared me the most. Why? Here are a few reasons why, then we can debate them.
1. The Broncos just played 2 nationally ranked teams, one being the #4 team in the nation now, and a 3rd good team they almost beat.
2. The chance for a let down after playing 3 tough opponents.
3. Under Jim Hofher, the Bulls have sent notice to the MAC that they are continuing to improve and will put up a fight in any game.
4. The game is at Buffalo.
Just a few reasons. If anyone else can think of them, just add them.

John,
You may be on to something. Obviously a few days have separated me from the loss to Ohio, because I know I wouldn't have said this any earlier in the week.
1. I would have a hard time getting up for UB after playing Michigan, Purdue and Va. Tech. And UB is bound to surprise somebody this year. The young guys are goint to get better.
2. UB's offense is moving the ball and scoring some points. Based on his stats the last 2 games, QB Randell Secky is not the same passer we saw against Lehigh and UConn. WR Andre Forde is explosive. 12 catches for 202 yards and 2 touchdowns against Ohio. 6 touchdowns and almost 100 yards per game receiving for the year. He ran back a punt for a TD against Lehigh. Redshirt freshman RB Aaron Leeper is going to open some eyes in the MAC before he is through. Pre-season all-MAC TE, Chad Bartosek, looks like he is finally back as part of the offense after disappearing for a few games.
3. Hofher does have them playing hard, even when they get behind.
4. K Dallas Pelz is 8/10 on the year in field goals. May be the difference in a close game.
5. They are calling for rain later this week. A muddy field could be an equalizer.
On the other hand, we are talking about UB.
1. The defense still can't stop anybody. They should be helped out a little if the offense can actually move and control the ball.
2. Home field advantage hasn't been much of an advantage for a long while.
3. From what I understand, WMU outplayed Va. Tech for a half, except for a couple turnovers. While the season results to date have to be disappointing to WMU, I believe there is still a bit of a talent gap with UB.
By the way, you are really going to like the Zooperstars at the game. You'll understand when you get there.

Klingon, everyone you named in paragraph was already put into my weekly MAC preview article which will be up sometime today.
UB is just one of those teams that is capable of jumping up and biting someone. After all, look at what Rutgers did to Tennessee. Leading 14-7 at one point, before losing 28-14.
I am trying to keep the member over at our main message board focused, but because there are no Buffalo fans around, they are starting to want to talk about UCF. Big mistake, because in college football looking past someone as a fan has the weirdest ways of making it to a affecting the team.
That is another reason why this game worries me. By the way, the Broncos do know how to play in the rain. After all, last year most of our home games were played in the rain.
