The Florida Atlantic game rekindled some fears I had for this season. The loss to Louisiana-Lafayette (even though expected it) only confirmed that fear.
We simply aren't good this year.
So, I break down the rest of our season like this.
If our opponent has a solid passing game, then they will beat us.
That included Florida Atlantic and Louisiana-Lafayette. Also on that list is Troy, Arkansas State, Utah State, and Louisiana-Monroe.
If our opponent struggles with the passing game and relies too much on running it, then they will lose to us. That included Akron and also includes New Mexico State and Idaho as well as North Texas.
Florida is an automatic loss any way you look at it.
So the way I see it, we are looking at only three more wins this year. Middle Tennessee, despite having the easiest schedule in America, will still finish 4-8.

I emailed this to someone else, but I figured It would be safe for me to post on this forum. I just dont want this getting to one of the coaches and coming back to me at my work. Anyway, I work at the hilton down here in lafayette, and I work for the banquet department and we served the food and stuff for the team. Anyway, one of the waiters said to one of the coaches "You got some pretty big guys there" to which the coach replied "that doesnt mean much" in the tone that they werent good. I didnt like yer coaching staff before (as i think your team is much better than what yall have shown the last few seasons), but after i heard about that, i dislike them even more because it shows they have a lack of confidence in your team. Yall need a cleaning house and take out most of that staff and get a decent staff in there.
