From what I hear, SG was largely responsible in the first place for that attrocity. In their defense, and everyone else's as well, this thing was never seen prior to being purchased. Artist's renderings were what everyone agreed to. The actual blow-up doll (down, CE...not THAT kind) was something entirely unexpected.

Aside from that, I see a HUGE marketing coup being missed (AGAIN) by UT here. This thing is so universally reviled that a proper send off would seem in order. Hell, done correctly, ESPN would love this story.

You might be on to something there Oddball.

That thing may emit enough "bad vibes" that an event celebrating its demise could eclipse "Disco Night" at Comiskey Park.

No doubt in my mind. That thing is absolutely horrible. And the best part is....it's freaking HUGE. I sit in the 5th row off the field, about 10 feet above field level, give or take. That damn thing about blocks out the MOON it's so tall. And you ought to see it waddle, er, walk. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" />
