Charlie Frye against Iowa:

21 for 28 230 yds. 2 TD passes

That's the first half alone! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

If he stays in the whole game, teams will have their hands full! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="smile.gif" />

Frye looked good, he made some poor throws early on that might have had slowed Iowa's momentum a little if they had been completed. But other than that he played well, and did a good job of taking what was given to him.

Keep in mind that the Iowa corners played very soft because of inexperience and not wanting to get beaten deep. And they also rarely blitzed so Frye had some time to pick out his target. Those factors likely contributed to the high completion percentages.

Frye is a solid qb who will only get better...especially if the Zips ground attack gets in gear.
