I haven't made any arrangements for the Nov 23rd game other than order tickets. I'd heard that the best option was to fly into Dayton on AirTran and their fares do seem the best, but it looks like Cincinatti may be closer. As it stands, I'm looking to come into Dayton. Anybody think that I should be talked out of that?

Also, I planned on coming in the morning of the game, arriving in time to get a car by about 10AM. Should I foresee any problems getting to the game in time for the 1:00 kickoff? And if I book a room somewhere near the Dayton Airport, is that a decent area?

Booby_Dee. I fly from KC to Ohio quite a bit.
Leave me a phone number on my Direct Line and I'll call you. 913-754-3121. It is much easier to get to Oxford from the Dayton airport.

Dayton is indeed probably easier to get to Oxford from although both are about a 45 minute drive into Oxford.

You shouldn't have a problem in getting to Oxford for kick-off if you have your car by 10 a.m.. You might even have a few extra moments to take a look around the beautiful Miami campus.

The Dayton airport is on the northern side of city is the suburb of Vandalia. I don't thing you'd have any problems in staying in the area, but if you want to stay closer to Oxford you might try the lodge at Hueston Woods State Park just north of Oxford or one of the motel/hotels in Oxford.

Looking forward to our game with the Knights!

Thanks guys, Air Tran has flights that will get me into Dayton the morning of the game and that in itself will save me the cost of a motel night. Not to mention avoiding missing my Friday night bowling league.

Thanks for the help. And I look foward to the game. Here's hoping that we are both still in the hunt for the MAC Championship that late in the season.
