Any guesses on the total combined lines for the two games? I'll call at least 45 (-17 to 20 at Pitt and -28 to 40 at UF depending on how bad we get beat at Pitt) but more likely 60+

Then again, I'd be ecstatic if I could ever actually watch OU pull an upset on a game I can view in CA. So if they somehow pull some magic at Pitt, I'd be happy to look like a fool on this call...

Pittsburgh will have a tough defense, but their offense might struggle early in the season. They are awfully young at wide receiver and QB. They are experienced at tailback, but they run a spread offense so the receivers and QB positions will be important.

I think this game could be close if the Panthers take you guys lightly. Ohio could have easily won some of those tight games last year.

Jonnymo, I live in CA, also...The Pitt game is very difficult to call, given OUr (non-)performance last year. Could be anything from a pretty solid OHIO win to a(nother) solid OHIO gets shellacked.

FU? That's one of those 'well, I hope no one gets injured' things at this point. This should have been a neat game, peaking from the Grobe era. But off of last year, it'll probably be one of those 78-4 things.
