1) Lists Jeff Jenerou or Paul Brieger at RT. Nice to see we can call on #1 or #1A (1A was formally #3!). Either way, we should be fine, now that Brieger's foot is better.

2) Jacob Brown is still ahead of Rod Means at WR. This is the first time in awhile we've had quality and depth at the receiver position.

3) Grant Arnoldink is still #2 at QB. I assume this means that A) Gorney's ankle is still an issue and B) Grant is currently just ahead of Kent Smith in the QB derby. At least he got rid of those "first-game jitters" against BC, although he played only late and not particularly well (who besides Mixon and Messam really did?).

4) Jon Nelson's return at LB means good things for both the defense and -- if memory serves -- special teams. He's played well, when healthy.

5) Bartell is still at CB. His size and phsyical presence can only help us back there, now that he's had more time to adjust. Jesse Dailey is now the backup to McKnight. Who knows? He may play better as a reserve.

6) Contrary to someone's report from early in the week (on MLive), Gruzwalski is still #1 at K. Let's give the kid a break. As a R-Fr, he's 6/10 on the season and was one of the heroes of the Wyoming game (4/4, perfect on XPs). He should improve with more experience.

7) BGSU has speed on defense, I'm told, but the LBs are not overly big. If we limit/eliminate turnovers, these guys may start to wear in the later stages. Also, the DL is relatively new (lost 3 to graduation last year, 1 or 2 to injury this season).

8) I guess CMU's karma penalty for having a large and physical OL is that all our opponents -- except Wyoming? -- will also have one. At least we're getting used to it...

9) BGSU's RBs are both freshman. We need to really try to rip the ball out and take advantage of the youth! Any turnovers we can get against this team will be a big bonus!
