Thank you Herd Fan 4-Life. Good luck to Marshall against the Hokies tonight. I will be watching. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="biggrin.gif" />

Soften them up a little for us. We have a date with the Hokies on the 28th in Kalamazoo, so we need them softened up a bit.

Keys for winning in Indiana:

1) Rush for at least 100 yards as a team. If Purdue's defense is allowed to play "meet me at the QB," it'll be a long day.

2) Force turnovers. WMU's defense is good enough to steal a couple drives for your offense. I'd say if you force three or four, you have a good chance.

3) Avoid mistakes on special teams. Virginia Tech
Purdue ain't, but in a game with small margin for error, a good performance here could go a long way.

4) Your front four MUST pressure Orton without a lot of help, because Purdue's run game is the best part of its offense right now.

Good luck, and may the Big 11 refs play fair...

Thanks for the insight. Here is my opinion.

With all the white and gold flying around, will Orton (who is color blind) be able to throw the ball to his receivers or the Broncos defenders.

Phil Reed has got to pount the ball up the middle. But, we always set up the run with the pass. If we start the game with the ball and score, it will give our guys a shot in the arm and will deflate the home crowd. Give our defense a lead to play with.

Babin and Browning love to meet at the quarterback so look for Orton to be under a lot of pressure all game long.

Our secondary needs to be able to prevent the deep ball.

Other than that, it will be a great game.
