UCF played Liberty last year and we played them this year. Liberty is a very improved 1AA team from last year. I also think Akron is an improved team from a year ago as well. UCF beat Liberty by a similar score but our starter were out of the game in the middle of the 3rd quarter. Up until that point in time Liberty only scored 3 points. It was like 49-3 in the 3rd quarter. Turnovers by our second and third team guys caused Liberty to score. I think your team is improving. Didn't you guys beat us a few years back? Forget about what that other fan has to say. Stick with your team throw thick and thin. He is probably another bandwagon Ohio St fan. Anyway lets talk some football !! I need some information on your players. Can you provide me with some info. Thanks! I am looking forward to the game.

Yes, Akron beat UCF in 2000 and your coach promptly threw a hissy-fit. UCF returned the favor and walloped the Zips at home in 2001. So any stooge can see that it's obviously Akron's turn to win this year! (even though UCF is favored by a touchdown and gets to host the game for the 2nd year in a row).
Charlie Frye is a top notch passing quarterback who will rewrite the Akron record books if he stays. We have excellent skill and depth at running back and the O-line may finally be learning to play so look for the Zips to move the ball consistently this Saturday. Also look for the Zips defense to BE moved consistently, resulting in a high-scoring shootout which may come down to the final possession of the game. Should be an entertaining afternoon.
Go Zips!

UCF favored by a TD huh? Do they give 21 points for a TD in Flodida? We're 21 point dogs.
As far as Frye transferring, what a joke. Yeah, he'll transfer...sit out a year at another school...and after a year off, and gamble that:
a.) He wins the starting job wherever he goes.
b.) He doesn't get hurt.
If Frye left, the only place he could play 2 years would be a 1-AA school, or lower. It would also mean his mindset is "When the going gets tough, transfer." That's not his style. Charley Frye transferring is about as probable as our defense getting a sack, or forcing a punt...it ain't gonna happen. Have another beer, dude.
