So... for this season at least... I'm all for it!!
Sure, like a (4-3, 1-3) Georgia Tech team with it's only wins over:
1. a terrible BYU team
2. Vanderbilt (needs no reminding how bad they are year in and year out)
3. a I-AA calibre team disguised as a I-A team (UConn)
4. and a 2-5 North Carolina team
and losses to the middle of the ACC pack teams:
1. a mediocre (4-4, 2-3) Clemson team
2. a mediocre (4-4, 2-3) Wake Forest team
3. a decent (5-2, 1-1) Maryland team
is going to go 1-3 or better against the 3 best teams in the ACC (after only winning 1 out of 4 against the rest of the ACC pack), and an undefeated and "SEC leading" Georgia.
I'll assume they beat Duke, but where do they find their second win out of that?
Virginia (4-1, 6-2) - at least this one is at home!
at North Carolina State - which is undefeated so far at 9-0.
Florida State - which is still Florida State - even with 2 losses.
at Georgia - who is 7-0, leading the SEC-east, and has a wins over Tenn and Alabama.
yeah, that'll happen.....
if it does, I'll go to every EMU game for the rest of this season and all of them next year (like that'll happen either) - and I'll even sit on the EMU side and cheer for them (usually, I just pretend I'm with the visitors).
