Is that now the MAC Championship will be played in Huntington again, and the same officials will hand the MAC Championship to Marshall on their home field once again for their 5th illegitimate so called MAC Championship.

It's just hard to be a fan of this conference when this kind of stuff goes on.

IT's hard to be in a conference where a marquee team has a losing record, never quits whining, and won't be hosting the MACC for about a decade if at all.

WMU -- a has been if they ever were a once was

Is this same conspiracy responsible for the Broncos sixth place West Division finish?

All the other posts aside, the worst thing about Tuesday Night's game was that the wrong team went home with a "win" - effecting who plays in the MACC and maybe who plays in what bowl - because a few refs got carried away with the home crowd noise and called pass intereference where there was none.

The rest - including the altercation between a drunken sot and a Miami coach who pushed him (let's not exaggerate folks, a push is not a punch - he fell down because he was drunk), were a result of a sudden change in the scoreboard. That made the Miami fans, players and coaches hot since they know they were wronged by the refs - and made a drunken 36 yr old juvenile "think" that he could "wave" the opposing team good-bye from the field.

And of course, this leads to the obvious question, "why would a 36 yr old "man" (I'll refrain from fully assuming he is adult-like, but still have to use the term "man" due to his age and gender) who is not on the staff, grounds crew or police - on the field in the first place?" Don't we usually expect people who are old enough to almost have a kid on the team to act like the adults in the stadium? How this "man" is not charged with trespassing, public intoxication and drunk and disorderly conduct I have no idea. To even consider charging another man with anything for trying to push his way past a drunk to get where he has the right to go is ridiculous. Has anyone not felt the discomfort when aproached by - or just near - a screaming drunk idiot? Ever made your way out of a stadium hoping not to be noticed by the "look how much alcohol I drank" crowd of baffoons?

I won't even get into the police over-reaction (in handcuff? ... because he pushed down a drunk that was coming after him and his players? ... a drunk that had no right being on the field in the first place? ... a drunk that was not a "kid" as so many posts claim - but rather a 36 year old "man"). Ok, I did get into a little of it - so take me off in handcuffs.

What continually bothers me is that this guy is being accused of being a drunken idiot.

Why does the fact that something happens to someone automatically make them a drunken idiot?

Does that mean they were tossing back shooters in the Miami coaches box? Is that why they trashed the place?

Was the Marshall fan so drunk that he violently backed into this former three time ALL-MAC Defensive Lineman so hard he mashed his head in the turf?

Nert, that may be the stupidest post you have ever made.

Thats OK. We are all drunken ******** at Marshall. Come tear up our house and bash our fans. We deserve it.

We can't assume he was drunk.

I think it's a fair bet, though.

I know I'm usually drunk at football games.

The same officials that made this call?
