You know the saying, "No publicity is bad publicity"? Well, is the Marshall - Miami debacle bad for the MAC? I don't necessarily think so. I don't condone any of the actions, but I do believe this incident shows that MAC football is for real and passionate. Anything that brings attention to MAC football, instead of attendance issues, will help the MAC. (Heck, maybe we will get more ESPN games because they can double as College Game Day and Tuesday Night Fights)

I agree with you. This is great for the MAC.

Now, if refs are perceived to have blown more calls the next time the MAC has an ESPN game, there may be some talk about we being bush league.

But no one can question our passion.

This worked out very well for the league.
