Tell me that any upper division MAC school wouldn't kick the c__p outta these two teams. I mean they are just plain......well, average (at best)!
The MAC representative in the GMAC should have a "field" day with either of these two teams......I'd expect nothing less than a 2 TD victory....

I watched the 4th qtr and overtime and come to the same conclusion. BG, NIU, Marshall, Toledo would put a serious hurting on either of these teams. And miami, as pi$sed off as they must be would flat out embarrass them. I honestly don't think that either of those teams could finish higher than 3rd in either division.
How would you like to be the Southern Miss placekicker today?

The other question I have is what sexual favors did UL give somebody to get 3 Thursday night games this year?

You take away the rain-soaked win over FSU, and U of L has pretty much "stunk" up the place in the other games......look for them to be seen a "little less" next year on ESPN.
I'm not trying to make this a "C-USA slamfest" (although that might be preferable to the other "slugfest" we've been debating), but I have to think that even many Herd fans would agree that the quality of play exhibited by C-USA teams on TV has left much to be desired, esp. when compared to THAT game played on Tuesday of this week. (oops, I said it)

I saw the second half and overtime and both L'ville (4-2, 6-4) and SoMiss (4-2, 6-4) looked very mediocre - but that CAN happen when two teams are well matched (I don't think that was the case here, but it can happen because of that). Frankly, TCU is head and shoulders above what SoMiss and L'ville are playing like now.
When comparing them to the MAC's best teams (BGSU, NIU, Toledo, Miami(OH) and Marshall), I would have to remind you that these are average C-USA teams (4-2 in conference) - not conference leaders. UAB (3-2, 4-5), Cincinnati (3-2, 4-5) and even ECU (3-1, 3-5) have the same number or less losses in conference. Even mediocre Tulane (3-3, 6-4) has the same overall record.
C-USA has one good team this year (TCU at 5-1, 8-1) and they might be very good. The rest are very average until you get to the bottom 3 - those are just awful.
- Houston (2-3, 4-5) - wins over 0-9 Army, 2-8 Memphis, 3-7 La-Laf, and 4-6 Rice (whose 4 wins came over teams that are a combined 6-32)
- Memphis (1-5, 2-8) - wins over Tulane and I-AA Murray State
- Army (0-6, 0-9) - wins over the practice squad at Army and several military high school teams

I thought both teams stunk up the field...COnf USA is vastly overrated and I am sick of seeing a crap UofL team every thurs night
I can see USF joining next yr and winning the conf outright. TCU is the only solid team in that conference...yet this league gets 5 bowl bids????? Are you kidding me??
BG, NIU, UT, Marshall, Miami and the likes would all kick the crap outta those two on tv last night.
