If UC beats ECU, the "word" is that UC will displace Tulane in the New Orleans Bowl and then Tulane goes out to Hawaii. This is to avoid a re-match of the ugly scene in Hawaii (which unfortunately is becoming commonplace out on the big island) when UC played Hawaii earlier this year.

What a mess! UC vs. the SunBelt will mean another mostly empty SuperDome (and you thought that the Silverdome used to look empty for the MBC?), although with Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl it won't really matter who C-USA sends out there.

If UC loses then Tulane will go to New Orleans, and USF nabs the Hawaii Bowl, which would probably be better for C-USA's image.

As a Miami fan, it hurts to see UC possibly "bowling" a second year in a row after we beat them. Oh well.........did you know that we almost beat Iowa and a team called Marshall too?

I have been out partying all night, so you won't get this from me often. Miami (OH) has nothing to be ashamed of playwise. Our game could've gone either way and most Herdfans will not say otherwise. Iowa would have been a real coup. You guys had a great team this year. I don't agree with your assertion that Herdfans secretly wanted to see a coach slam someone. If anything we wanted it to happen to show that the "class act of the MAC" is not infallible. The fact that this was turned around on us is reprehensible. MAC fans should take that opinion and then we would drop it. If they don't we will continue to rub it in at every turn. Good team, sore losers. That is the best I can sum it up. Dropping the ball against Florida Tech at Orlando is also inexcusable no matter what else goes on. They suck and they got second. That is disgusting. "Wait til next year" ???????? FUC gets beat by 30 at home by the Herd next year. No more unrealistic than them beating us for the MAC East championship next year. No one has and no one will. UCF might understand this one day.
