I'll take this 1 for KT:

At least it looks like they are going to build a new stadium on Campus. Heres a thought most there would rather go 0-11 and get an education at UCF, than win the Sun Belt at MTSU..

UCF stadium could doom Citrus Bowl
If team moves, renovation of aging facility is unlikely

By Jason Garcia and Alan Schmadtke | Sentinel Staff Writers
Posted January 9, 2005

The University of Central Florida's plan to build a football stadium on campus is the latest blow to Orlando's hopes to renovate the aging Florida Citrus Bowl, vital to the city's push for a revitalized downtown, according to government, sports and tourism insiders.

But the Citrus Bowl's loss could boost the Orlando Magic's hopes for a new basketball arena.

Orange County Mayor Rich Crotty, whose support is crucial to squeezing money from the county's tourist tax to build or refurbish sports venues, raised new doubts that he could muster the political support for Citrus Bowl renovations if the stadium loses its home team.

"There's a whole kind of circumstantial case that's building up against the Citrus Bowl," Crotty said.

It is the furthest Crotty has gone in questioning the rationale of spending as much as $150 million to fix the 69-year-old Citrus Bowl.

UCF has a much higher committment to football than MTSU does. UCF will be bowling way before your BlueRaders are.

And Troy, who just so happens to be in the Sun Belt.

At least we have other sports.

Although I hear Marshall baseball, basketball, and track are forces to be reckoned with.

Have fun in West Virginia. I hear it's nice this time of year.

Marshall couldn't win the SBC in football, and damn sure couldn't finish in the top 3 in the All Sports Trophy. So please, have fun playing wth yourself and all the Texas schools in C-USA.

I'm sure the MAC's glad to have you gone. All you'll do is hurt everyone's RPI.

In a rebuilding year, we won 0 games. We averaged 21,000 fans.

MTSU won 4 games I believe and averaged a measley 13,000.

UCF has a top 60 recruiting class. MTSU has.....?

UCF has a former national coach of the year. MTSU has........?

UCF has a new football athletic center and a brand new stadium on the way. MTSU has.........?

UCF is moving to CUSA. MTSU is in the Sun BElt......a conference in which your best team gets ***** slapped by our 3rd best team.

In 5 years we'll have a booming succesful football program along with a quickly rising basketball program.

MTSU will still be MTSU.......in the Sun Belt.

How many top 10 finishes does MTSU have? Conference titles in the past 10 years? When's the last time you averaged 25,000 fans? When's the last time MTSU was on national tv, especially for a home game?

Quit looking stupid talking smack about Marshall.

And you will average that many when you go 0-11 again!

Doesn't matter when O'Leary doesn't do squat with that "average" recruiting class. They will go 0-11 AGAIN!

He's a fraud too. Ask Notre Dame.

MT already has those. Why is it taking UCF so long to get it's ****** into the game?

Ummm Im a rival of UCF unlike this BR puke and know a lil whats going on in Orlando. But all I done was pointed out that UCF is looking to build an on campus stadium.

Lets take a look at UCFs recruiting class:

**WR NR Rocky Ross (The Bolles School) Jacksonville, FL 6-3/185/4.55 01/09/2005 Central Florida

***RB JC Jason Peters (Butte) Oroville, CA 6-3/230 12/12/2004 Central Florida

***S JC Marlon Williams (Reedley) Reedley, CA 6-0/205 12/12/2004 Central Florida

*LB NR Jordan Richards (Hargrave Military Academy) Chatham, VA 6-2/220 12/12/2004 Central Florida

***S 53 Breon Rogers (Hargrave Military Academy) Chatham, VA 6-3/195/4.65 12/07/2004 Central Florida

**DT NR Terrance Knighton (Milford Prep) New Berlin, NY 12/04/2004 Central Florida

**DT NR Clarence Howard (Milford Prep) New Berlin, NY 6-4/270 11/22/2004 Central Florida

**CB NR Joe Burnett (Eustis HS) Eustis, FL 5-10/180/4.47 10/22/2004 Central Florida

**QB NR Alex Thompson (F. W. Buchholz HS) Gainesville, FL 6-2/195/4.75 10/11/2004 Central Florida

**RB NR Shane Smith (Milford Prep) New Berlin, NY 6-3/240 10/07/2004 Central Florida

**TE NR Travis Ferrer (Lincoln HS) Tallahassee, FL 6-5/240 08/25/2004 Central Florida

**LB NR T.J. Harnden (Lincoln HS) Tallahassee, FL 6-5/230 07/29/2004 Central Florida
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UCF has the 66th best recruiting class in the nation right now according to insiders. Some of these players look scary and in a yr or 2 UCF will look scary. UCF may have went 0-11, but they have a good foundation there with one of the best recruiters in the nation. They have a QB coming back that is mobile and has an arm like a rocket, if he gets a line infront of him he's going to be deadly.
