Congratulations to Kent for making the MAC tourney finals- helped by hanging on during the regular season and not slipping to the opposite bracket that included WMU, Toledo and UB.

Kind of nice to talk hoops again. All these other people keep turning the posts back to football. :D

Nice to know you think winning the East and #2 seed is "hanging on" so we wouldn't have to play those mean 4 teams in the other bracket against whom we were 5-1 going into the tourney.

Also happy you guys finally got to play at the Gund, even if it was only once.
I think our record there is like 14-3 or something. :D

And you STILL couldn't catch us? It ain't hanging on when you've already vanquished the challenger well before the end.
We weren't a great team last year--just good enough. We'll be a much better and much different team this year. Our seniors fell apart down the stretch. We have retooled with our best recruiting year ever, will return our starting center (Edwards was the backup, you may recall) and our guard play will be second to none--very deep at point.
You guys have a shot at your best year ever. We are going to be loaded for the next two years at least. It ought to be fun.
