Well however we can represent because we sure haven't been doing it in basketball and football lately that's for sure.

They said that these ratings aren't to be taken seriously, but I seriously doubt us being #18 our students not focusing on academics. I remember sometimes meeting alumni at the bars and hear them remark and how much quieter OU had gotten since when they went to school. We figured that it must be the higher academic standards that OU requires for new students. We are a very popular destinatation for Ohio high school grads. The administration and Athens in general seem to be taking a harder stance on the partying too-- just look at the way that they have been mandating the crap out of Halloween.

Still it is good to see we still haven't lost our touch. 04-cheers

Dude, you're a total *******.

Even if he was a cokehead, I'd rather have that than some moron who insits on changing his mind every 5 minutes and is as fit to run our country as a monkey in a zoo.

really..you'd want a cokehead in office? facing that situation, i'd go for option 3...where's Ross?

hehe

In any case... since at most places, a party is a place with loud music and bad beer...its not hard to shoot up the rankings...especially at OU...though that's how parties are at most places.

Real parties have....Dancing! :rolltide:

HEY! You folks are slipping down there. Back in the 80's you used to be in the top THREE!

Let's get cooking down there.

Is it true Paul Newman was kicked out of OU for rolling a keg down Jeff Hill?

Hmm, clearly you are confused, as your liberal distribution of personal insults is misguided.

In the white house, we have a moron, *******, Bible Belt freak who thinks everyone must share his idealistic views, all wrapped into one. I’d vote for the monkey.

I think we are re-appearing on this list for the first time in a few years. We were out of the top 10 for a stretch there.

Way to represent the MAC OU. good job! But how about SUNY-Albany getting #1? Where did that come from? I would think the best large party school in NYS would be Syracuse. The campus is compact and right next to a big party street. I used to go up there all the time...

For whats its worth, when I did a search of other MAC schools, Miami was the only other one to pop up:

<a href='http://www.princetonreview.com/college/research/profiles/rankings.asp?listing=1023443<ID=1' target='_blank'>http://www.princetonreview.com/college/res...1023443<ID=1</a>

#5 Little Race/Social Interaction
#9 Homogeneous Student Population
#16 Great Campus Food

I can't believe that no other MAC school wouldn't be rank in top 357.

And if you wonder why SUNY Albany was #1, they were also rated #2 for their campus being "tiny, unsightly, or both." Perhaps beer googles makes it look better.

SUNY Albany was my top choice before I actually stepped foot on the campus. It felt like a prison, it had zero personaility. I have no idea how UA even showed up on the list. SUNY Cortland and UB have much better party reputations, SU might be a fun party school if you like partying with sheltered rich ****** frat boys from NYC metro area.

I'm guessing they didn't even bother to rate places like Cortland, Owsego, Geneseo, etc. Those are State University colleges, and usually quite a bit smaller. They probably stuck to the big four: Buffalo, Albany, Binghamton and Stony Brook.

But, yes, Syracuse doesn't impress me. It strikes me as the private school kids go to when they can't get into a legitimately prestigious private school.

You'd think dancing at Miami would look more like Al Gore's "dancing".

As Tim Wilson put it, "I'm caucasian, but that's a white boy there. I guarantee there's white people in Al Gore's past, a LONG way back. His eyelids don't blink at the same time."
