What do you boardese think the outcome for Wednesday will be.

Mine: I think Kent will when a close one

Kent: 68
OU: 63

Water cooler comment I: We will ride Gates at the end for a win after learning a valuable lesson on Saturday.

Haut has a GREAT game scoring 22 points, most of which aren't 3's. Big John gets his Dunk/Rebound/Block then fouls out. Gerwig steps up and finishes with 11. Haynes has a solid performance at 17 points. Another thing I think will happen is that Christian will start using the bench more in this game.

Water cooler comment II: Hunter carries OU almost to victory scoring 24, but the rest of the team (after a GOOD game) comes up just a little short.

Don't we play Ball State tonight? ( Wednesday?) Sure hope you are right about Saturday at Ohio.

Regarding Ball State, once again we play a teamon a streak. ( We must have our own special black cloud following us). They had a terrible start and have now won 4 in a row. They have a guy ( can't recall his name) that scored 50 in a game earlier this year. And, we play on the road The thing is, the Flashes seem to win when they know they have to, and from reading this morning's papers, they know they have to.

Regarding Ohio, they just got two key players back - Barrett and Johnson. So maybe their bench wasn't strong enought to finish. We'll see the impact of fresh legs. Noticed OU got wiped out at Northern last night. I think we can pull it out at Ohio, but probably another close one.

Here's a stat for you, off the game notes for tonight:
Quote:LIKING THE NIGHT LIFE

In a statistic normally reserved for outdoor sports, the Golden Flashes have shown a drastic difference in games played during daylight hours versus in the evening. Kent State is 13-0 in games that start at 6 p.m. or later, while recording a 4-3 mark in games starting prior to 6 p.m. The Flashes are 2-3 in 2 p.m. tipoffs.

I have tickets for tonight and since I note there is no TV, I'll report back tomorrow on the details as I saw them. Looking forward to seeing their great arena! Looking forward even more to bringing home a win!
04-cheers
