Is Ak going to get a stadium in town near campus or has this fallen on deaf ears....it would be good and I think Akron would do well if a stadium was in town

It's just speculation right now. Some ideas. Word has it that it will be another 5 years...maybe more till we get one.

That would be sweet if the zips got a new stadium. I am a huge fan of the Rubber Bowl and it will be even sweater because the new logos will be on it and they will have new terf!!!!! I cannot wait for the the 2003-2004 football season because the Zips are going to be contenders.

I totally forgot. New turf is supposedly going to be put in the Bowl....should be nice....
