Don't know what the new grandstands look like or the status, but the Spring football guide has the new eastside stands with a capacity of 4,104 bringing the total capacity to under 30K at 29,287.

Anyone seen the plans? Has construction started?

I read the same thing also; but so far nothing is happening at the stadium (yet). It would be hard to believe that if this is going to be ready by the first home game in the fall, that it will be anything of note.

We shall see.........

Just imagine the revenue we have lost over the past decades because we haven't been able to squeeze that extra 4000 fans into the stadium.

Maybe they are going to put these seats up and take the rest of the stadium down. 4k is enough for most games.
