Have to agree that the Herd has the toughest schedule this year.

However, Akron "may" be a darkhorse but must play @ Miami and @ Marshall with salivating revenge on our minds! :saber:

Mostly agree.
I would bump BG down 2 spots. OOC is not as tough and MAC sched is not as tough as OU's or Kent's. Now, partially that is because they get to play us and we have to got there and play them!
I agree that OU's sched is marginally tougher than ours.
The comment that we don't have to travel long distances this year is amusing--we get to go to BG, Marshall, Pitt, and Penn St. Not much of a break!
On paper, Marshall's run should be over.
Fortunately for them, they don't have to play on paper. Champs have a way of finding ways to win [insert Oddball comment here] and there is something to be said for being in the habit of winning.
04-cheers

Nice job Nick! I like Toledo's schedule. We have a tough September to get through, but those tough games @ UNLV, @ Marshall, @ Syracuse, and home against Pittsburgh will make us that much better for the remaining 7 conference games. I know it kind of sucks that we have so many home games late in the year in terms of attendance, but that is a plus going down the stretch for the MAC West title run.

I was all prepared to take you to task and then I really looked at the MAC crossover games and found myself completely agreeing.

No complaints but I will say this. Who scheduled Buffalo's crossover games? Satan?

Herdon?? 03-lol

I'd move UCF up a couple spots - VaTech, Syr & WVU are tougher collectively than BSU's big three, and I don't know that WMU and UT's games against Marshall make up for the lack of a great third OOC game (though UNLV is not a sneeze-at game).

I'd be more apt to drop Marshall behing Miami and possibly NIU, though Marshall's crossovers are tough. But I don't see @ Troy State as a brutal game - a good one, but hardly brutal. At UT and KSU are great, though!!

Good job, Nick!

You'd know that if you ever played your AC/DC records backwards. Don't you listen to what Geraldo (my minion) tells you?

Records? What is this *records* of which you speak? Isn't AC/DC on cd, like most music? :D You must be somewhat old to speak of records.

Nick,
As always you're totally up on MAC football. Marshall does have a brutal sked this yr.

As for BG's OOC being light other than Ohio St, Purdue is being picked by some to contend for the Big Ten title. They have a ton of starters back and lost many games by 7 points or less. That game will be as difficult as Ohio St in my mind.

Looks to me like CFU is campaigning to replace UCG when they leave for the ACC.

Funny thing is, UConn played like 4 MAC teams last season. Do these teams know which conference they're in?
