MT's Lady Raiders beat UL's Lady Cajuns rather easily this afternoon to earn the Sun Belt Conference's automatic bid into the NCAA tournament. Good luck Lady Raiders!!! Lady Cajuns will now look for a bid to the WNIT.

Yup, and they didn't make it there for the sake of making it. Look for them to bulldoze into their first round opponent and eye their targets on a deeper playoff run. They lost 2 good seniors last year who were big role players in their playoff run last year. They both average about 5-9 pts per game as well as 7-8 rebounds. This year they got some helpful newcomers, but they still have their best players and their core is intact. This team has went through the transition of looking like a mid-major women's club....to prestigious women's program. They are getting their and they look somewhat professional in how they do things. I wish the Men's team was like them. Patrice Holmes and Krystal Horton don't know the meaning of "quit" and they will fight to the last minute until that buzzer sounds at 0:00. This team and their coach have worked too hard and come too far , to let it all fall down.

Good Luck Lady BLUE!!!
