It's hard to take Hayes seriously when he doesn't know that ice hockey is not a Big Ten sport. I mean, sports is his business, isn't it, and it is common knowledge that the Big Ten doesn't sponsor hockey. Big Ten affiliated schools are members of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (Michigan , Michigan State, and Ohio State) and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (Minnesota and Wisconsin). Illinois, Northwestern, Iowa, Indiana, Purdue, and Penn State do not field varsity hockey teams at all. How much time would it have taken to get the facts straight, 5 minutes?

I agree with this completely. There is no way these idiots should even THINK about crying foul, when they impose this BCS crap on the other 52 universities not in the BCS.

He brings up very good points- especially the playoff argument that it would "carry into the 2nd semester".

Well, the Big 10 wants this baseball season to carry into the NEXT SCHOOL YEAR.

Give me an f'ing break. The BCS makes me sick.
