Last year, the Cajuns were a 13 seed and nearly beat NC State. Had the Cajuns shot the ball the way they had all year, they would have beat NC State by 15 or more. 1992, Cajuns were a 13 seed and played 4 seed Oklahoma, in OK City (as close to Stillwater as you can get). Cajuns beat OU 87-83. Cajuns are a 13 seed this year and Louisville is a 4 seed. Nashville, TN (site of the game) is only 2 hours away from Louisville. De ja vue all over again!

And the folks in Stillwater were much happier about the game than the folks in Norman (which is closer to OKC than Stillwater).

I am just going to tell you, Louisville is going to be tough. Pitino is PISSED about his seed and I am sure is using it to modivate his players.

Congrats Cajuns...that was a heck of a game...I was at your game with NC State in Orlando last year and was pulling for the upset...maybe next year is the year you finally pull off that first round win!...maybe we'll join you as well!

If we ever need to bring in any teams to C-USA I hope the first team we invite is Louisiana-Lafayette. You guys always seem to have a good basketball team.
