Yeah, its going to be a good game. I'm glad Troy has a bye week before so we can get a little rested and healed from that brutal opening month. I might try to make it out to Lafayette for that one.
Do you know why ULL picked Troy for homecoming?

I suggest you make the trip cause I plan on returning the favor when we travel to Troy. I hope y'all bring the band again too. They were awesome last year.
As for us picking you as homecoming, we like to schedule in October. We have three home games in October; October 1st vs. UCF, October 8th vs. FAU, and October 29th vs. Troy. The first two are kinda early, so the administration felt the 29th was perfect for homecoming. It's still kinda warm at the beginning of October down here.
And we also wanted an easy victory!

Smack forum? Nah, I don't think so.
Our friend from ULL hasn't seen the strides Troy has made in the last year or two. This is not the first year I-A team that got clobbered by MT. Or, he's still thinking of the fiasco last year in Jonesboro, and I do mean fiasco.
I know ULL has a good team, and I hope they win their share, especially against the non-cons (ahem..UCF). But Troy losing in Lafayette ain't gonna happen, homecoming or not.
GO TROJANS!

Your son plays football/other sport for Troy, or your son is in the SOTS? I'm a SOTS alumnus myself.
