It appears that every story on Ware has to include a little slap at Troy.
Quote:Ware is a classic "tweener" defensive end/linebacker but is widely regarded as a prospect with rare pass-rushing skills. He dominated lower Division 1-A as a pass-rushing defensive end, finishing his four-year career at Troy with 195 tackles, 57 tackles for loss and 27.5 sacks. His career-high 10.5 sacks in 2004 made him a finalist for the Ted Hendricks award, given to the top defensive end in college football.
Lower I-A. Did this idiot look at Troy's schedule? South Carolina, Marshall, Miami, Minnesota, Iowa State, Missouri, LSU, Nebraska, Miss, State, Arkansas, Virginia, Northern Illinois, Marshall, UAB, and more. Lower I-A?

Congrads on the first round selection, he was a great player in college and will do well in the pros. Hopefully we'll be watching him play for many years to come!

I'm a UCF alum and long-time Cowboys fan...from all I've read, Ware will be a great fit in Parcell's plans for 2005 and beyond. I'm looking forward to seeing both him and Spears from LSU this year! The Cowboys pass rush has been horrible for years and the run defense not much better. Would appreciate some of your takes on Ware's strengths and weaknesses. Thanks and congrats on your first 1st round pick! Good luck in 2005!!
