This looks a lot nicer than I anticipated. It also looks like the structure is going to have at least two boxes for loges or coaches' boxes. I can't wait for 9/13! Go Flashes! :)

P.S. - Click on the picture and a box will appear that you can click on to enlarge the picture.

Yeah Flash - but it looks better in person; I took a drive over to the stadium on Wednesday and
it looks a bit higher than the end-zone stands and it sits well back from the sidelines the way they
have it designed. Looks like its going to be an all metal type of stands (not unlike the end-zone
sections), and as you say a middle section at the top for media, coaches and such.

Also the sections on each side of the newly built stands (between the goal line and the new stands)
has the cement support structures in place but they have not started any structure buildup
as of yet in those areas (look closely at the pictures at the web-site); looks like more stands will
go in those areas. 04-rock

Somewhere within the remodeling, there is supposed to be a luxury box type building. I seem to remember reading that last year.

Looking good, looking forward to the 9/13 game vs YSU.

These stands look like they will be the same type of structure as the old ones? Wy didn't they use concrete?

Concrete was probably a cost issue. The old ones were wooden and falling down. With our attendance, I'm amazed they replaced them at all. I like what they did at Stambaugh and had hoped that they would build the visitor side similarly here, but kudos to the admin for doing anything.

Welcome aboard and see you on 9/13. Should be a heck of a game! We owe you!

BTW is there a Penguin board anywhere. A little pre-game banter is in order!
