Definitely Auburn! Auburn has a really solid program, but the Sooners are downright evil.
Maybe you guys should send the junior varsity for that one; build some character in the young guys and save the starters for the rest of the season :D
(I shouldn't laugh; we've got Maryland and Alabama this year  . I just hope no one gets hurt......)

I'm not afraid of any program at this point.
It's a tough matchup, but so was Auburn.
We still have room to schedule an August tune up game before the trip to Norman.

Oklahoma is not invinicible. W/ the offense they have, they need a great QB...anything else and their mistakes can kill them.
Meanwhile, BG is no slouch. I imagine BG's recent record against the Big 12 got some attention. I consider it a compliment that OU wants to give the Falcons a try.
My only complaint is that it's just 1 year away. Signing these prominent games should be a recruiting tool, but you can't use it much when it comes up so quickly.

They aren't invincible, but they are a top 5 program and a much more menacing foe than Auburn, IMO. Hey, I was just kidding around; didn't mean to suggest you have no chance (hell, you guys are playing the freaking defending national champion this year  ).
I did have in mind our original OOC schedule for this year which included trips to Minnesota and Alabama and home games against Maryland and Iowa St. :( . When I originally saw that, I was glad to see us being ambitious in our OOC games, but I couldn't help but be concerned about the prospect pf sustaining injuries prior to the MAC season, something we dealt with frequently in the mid-80s with similarly ambitious OOC schedules.
Be that as it may, hope you guys catch em with their pants down and come back with a big victory for the MAC.

Oklahoma isn't any better than Ohio State. Let's see how BG does against them this year. I think BG can compete with OSU and Oklahoma and at least make the games close.

Now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about! Beating the Sooners would be almost as enjoyable as beating that team in Columbus!

Thanks rf! We are hated rivals, aren't we??
I am convinced that the top MAC teams can compete with just about anyone in the country anymore.
UT is 4-4 vs the B 10 in there last 8 games, BG is 5-0 vs BCS teams the last couple yrs and teams like UCF, NIU, Miami and Marshall can all play the big boys as good as anyone.
Ohio beat Minnesota a few yrs ago as well.
GO BG!!! GO MAC!!!

Well, if you're gonna play with the "Big Boys" may as well play with arguably the Biggest of them all.
By the way, I read in an article concerning FAMU's move to I-A that Oklahoma is willing to pay a visit to Tallahassee to play the Rattlers if they can get their proposed Stadium Expansion finished by 2005. Now, if they're willing to do this for FAMU, why not a school like BGSU?
