Not that I'm a fan of Findlay in any form. But, the MAC ties are interesting.
Strahm fits right in with college greats

Dick Strahm looked up from his breakfast Friday morning and took in an intimidating scene.
The former University of Findlay football coach realized he was sitting at an eight-person table with seven NFL greats.
At that moment, Strahm wondered if he truly belonged in the College Football Hall of Fame’s 2004 induction class beside the likes of Barry Sanders, Joe Theismann, Darrell Green and Jimbo Covert.
It was a fleeting feeling, though. Strahm said the three-day induction weekend in South Bend, Ind., bonded him with his game’s most recognized figures.
Findlay and the Golden Dome became one.

He also hired Joe Novak out of college as an assistant at that Warren H.S. Sounds like a smart guy. :D

Strahm, a Toledo native, started his coaching career by beginning a football program at Kan-sas Lakota High School in 1960.
Wow, that's where I went to high school. They could sure use him now. I don't think they have had a winning season since the 80's.

Wow, that's where I went to high school. They could sure use him now. I don't think they have had a winning season since the 80's.
Larry Smith coached my HS back in the '60's. We went through some very lean years since too.
