You need to make that 5 1-A home game rule by 2005.

Get to work on it guys.

Unfortunately, as I lamented in an earlier e-mail. This schedule for 2004 and 2005 does little to help that cause. Who wants to see Liberty or SEMSU?

I'm pumped up as hell to get a BCS opponette at Dix, plus my dad's an Iowan by birth and I have quite a few Cyclone fans in the family. I hope KSU dosn't get kicked out of 1-A by then.

I have been looking forward to the Vanderbilt game ever since Kent announced that it was playing the Commodores in Nashville. :)

Someone on the ESPN board was rumoring that the Temple game is at home to start the season. Was that someone who posts here? Does anyone know if this is true? This would lend credence to the Temple joining the MAC rumors. Hopefully, they bring their b-ball with them. :D

Temple would be a nice home opener, but I don't know anything about next year's football OOC schedule. I thought we were opening at Michigan State?

FIDo or punt, can you help?

Kent State plays at Michigan State Sept. 3. That could just mean Temple would be the home opener, or does anyone know the status of starting in August? It could be the last Thursday in August? The NCAA did not allow August games without a special exemption this year. Is that for next year as well? Anything beats having a I-AA on the schedule. That Phila paper did mention recently that Kent State was a team Temple wanted to add.

Last I saw something official, Kent State is also scheduled to play at Navy in mid-October.

Have now done some additional searching because I have nothing better to do, and I am a night owl (pardon the pun). I have found nothing on the Temple game. But the Minney Star Tribune reported a few days ago that Kent State is playing at Minnesota Sept. 10 to fill their second non-conference home game. That day was supposed to be the home opener against SEMO. Did they drop the Navy or MSU game? And again when would the Temple game be? I hope they didn't drop the MSU game. If we can pick out a quarterback from our large crop, I think we could surprise them.
