Hey Cajunman02 or wkutopper , is it possible to change the colors of this WKU Board? I find that the black and gray makes it difficult to read the board. Red is god's color so that's fine, but with black and grey behind white letters, my eyes start hurting after awhile. Maybe that's why there aren't more WKU fans posting here...

Also.... the red is a little too bright.... I swear I don't watch "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" or at least I'll never admit it or let my wife see me watching it

I don't like the black either. Black is NOT one of WKU's colors... we are not Louisville.
Use white, gray, and red.

Sorry I haven't been around, I've been busy and out of town. I will look into getting the color scheme of the board changed. It's beyond my ability and my control but I will get it taken care of.
The White, Gray, and Red works for me just fine. However how do you guys want the colors to be arranged? Change the black to gray and leave everything else alone, or some other variation. Just let me know and I will get it taken care of ASAP.
Thanks!!!

I would say this board would have to show more activity before they invest any time changing colors.

Definitely if it is a problem at all then leave as is. I am just used to my wife "the computer nerd" of the family being able to fix everything in just a few seconds! Thanks for all your efforts!

I will check into it but I don't believe that it will be a problem.

Just to update the status, I have sent a PM to Georgia Tech Swagger (GTS) who is the head of all of the BBS boards. Initially I just inquired into the possibility of changing the colors. Just let me know exactly what type of color scheme everyone wants and I will pass it on to GTS to get it taken care of.

OK...here's my suggestion....
I've noticed most boards that are easy on the eyes have 3 colors, 2 shades of the schools main color (dark for the header bar, and lighter shade for the bar below it) and white or very light grey background (I'd prefer white) for the text box. The 2 shades of red for Western need to be a light and a dark red, not the neon bright red currently in this forum.
Just one man's opinion.

I was gonna suggest you do that, but if there is anything else you need regarding changes to the board, i.e. icon changes, logo at the top, go to the Dev Team Board. They should help you out there if someone sees the post.

Thanks Cajunman, I will go to the Dev board if I don't hear something back from GTS soon. I still have to figure out exactly what color scheme to use, I'll discuss that with GTS or whomever does it and then seee what their thoughts are as well.

I'll see what I can whip up.
If, by chance, you happen to have "official" hex codes for school colors, that would be sweet.
