I wish those stands went all the way to the endzones... any word if they are going to make that "press box" look nicer... instead of a trailer thrown atop of the stands??

skins 4-ever,
While we appreciate your interest in this project, why do you feel it necessary to criticize? Hell, Yager ain't no gridiron shrine! So your visitor's bleachers run endzone to endzone. But how high are they, 15 rows? The end zone bleachers are worse. They look like mobile county fair stands for the tractor pull......

Wait till it's done, make a visit, and then make up your mind.

<a href='http://dept.kent.edu/athletics/images/construction/construction081203.jpg' target='_blank'>east side stands</a>

it looks to me like there will be additional construction on either side of the new stands, as well as a bigger box on the top of the stands. I seem to remember them saying that it will be a loge up there. Looks good

That isnt criticism, Im just commenting. If it was criticism I would be complaining about how aweful they look, which they dont, how they dont do their job, which they do. Back the hell off... Im not the only person who has had these comments, so I thought i would come ot the source as opposed to speculate.

New pics up today. Looks like the main section is materially complete and that they are starting on the sections between the end zones and the 20s. It appears that the wanted to make sure that the main structure was complete for the YSU game and that anything else would be a bonus. Definately an improvement at Dix!

GO Flashes! BEAT Akron! :chair:

According to the Kent State Sports News:

Quote: The new stands, which will include party platforms at each end and a small loge, will be ready for the football home opener against Youngstown State University
