With basketball recruiting for 2005-06? It seems with the loss (or never having) Sylvania Watkins that we could use some additional help in the middle. Right now, we have Wilborn (great player at times, but can we count on him being consistent?), Walker (never seen the floor in a college game; but high reviews; only 6'7), Siakem (very raw, but should be much improved over last season; showed glimpses of greatness last season), Emerson (never seen the floor in a college game; high reviews). I would like to have another 6'8 or so banger. Just my opinion, though.

At this point in time, I would say that we are most likely finished. It's just awfully late to find anyone who could be an impact player. The only possibilities I see are if a player has just suddenly became eligible after passing the ACT/SAT or resolved other grade issues that would make him eligible. Aside from that the only way I see someone coming in now is a transfer and it's hard to predict that so if I were guessing I'd say it will be the fall recruiting period before we see any new additions to the Hilltopper program.
