"We're in the Sun Belt Conference and the Gateway Conference and we're trying to move those conferences as far as we can get them," Selig said on Wednesday".

I dunno, I would hope every conference member would have that attitude. If they didn't, then why bother at all...

"A wee bit arrogant ?"

How is that arrogant? Every school should be trying to push the conference forward. My god, some of you SBC fans are the most sensative people on the face of the earth.

Sure every schools is/should be trying to push/move the conference forward. The quotes for other schools I've seen include something like "working with other members", etc. and not stated in a singular context.

WKUY has to consider the possibilities of what is best for WKU thats all there is to it. Yes we need to help out the Sun Belt but if a better opportunity were to arise down the road we have to take it.

I didn't take the quote out of context.... obviously some people fish for things to poke at. I take it as WKU is committed to helping the conferences grow.
