What does this thing mean:

:ownd:

It seems to say "Own3d"

That means nothing to me.

Been wanting to drag this one out. :D
Actually, I think it means to imply "owned" but it seems pretty weak to me. And I've never been shy about using the emoticons.
:withstupid:
I want a gun to head/ shoot myself smiley.
I want a shrugging shoulder smiley.
I want a thumbs-in-ears-wave-fingers-nyah-nyah smiley.

I could go on.

I'd like a "poking out my own eyes" smiley and a smiley making the international hand sign for "stroke me".

I'd also like a "flipping the bird" smiley.

And how about this guy I found on clicksmilie.com.....

It does say "owned" in language of the 1337 h4x0r. A substitution system that works something like:
'a' or 'A' is a 4
'e' or 'E' is a 3
'i' or 'I' is a 1
'o' or 'O' is a 0
't' or 'T' is a 7
's' or 'S' is a $
'z' or 'Z' is a 2

with a few other silly "rules" thrown in randomly, i.e. you becomes u, are becomes r, capitalize every other letter, etc.

M4r5H4ll OWn$ +H3 m4C. PH34R ouR m4D $K1LL$.

Pretty dorky, really. About as bad as that lamer 0dDb4lL with his "LOL ROTFLMFAO OMGWTFBBQ" nonsense.

As previously stated, once they get an "I'm NOT with Stupid" smilie on this board I'll post here more frequently. Until then, AO is the defacto spokesperson. :ownd: (just had to use that one, whatever it means).
