Thanks to Louisville and company. Losing Louisville, Cincy, South Florida, Marquette, whoever else in basketball, and possibly TCU won't help that TV contract or those 5 bowls.

Ok, I am leaving for Orlando tomorrow evening for business/football. It worked out nice, right? Wednesday, I expect to see plenty consumption of alcohol and little sorority girls wearing next to nothing. When UCF joins C-USA, I expect road trips to TX, LA, and AL to be even better. Not...well...snow and fat hogs huddled around a flame sipping hot cocoa. I hope you are happy with your fat heffer girl friends in Muncie.

EMU did not beat UCF up and down the field. The score was 19-16 I believe. And all of their points come off of turn overs that happened within our 30 yd line. I may be wrong but I think that was the recap.

UCF mopped up the MAC (minus Toledo and Marshall to a 8 point total) last year and had a bad year due to losses this year...deal with it. UCF and Marshall are going to C-USA for geographical, monetary, competition (in more than one sport), and attendance reasons, so DEAL WITH IT. Orlando, FL (Disney World) is unlike Bowling Green, OH (Super Walmart) in that there is more than one thing to do in Orlando (Beaches, Down Town, Go out doors in the winter)...so...DEAL...WITH....IT...!!!!

How many bowl games did you go to because you "mopped up the MAC"? I believe the same answer is 0 for all 3 questions. Trust me FUC didn't go to C-USA for competition reasons, the competition all went down the toilet when these teams announced they were leaving. But think what you want and enjoy your view at the bottom looking up in C-USA, like you did this year.

My point... a 6-2 and 2-6 record in the MAC (.5 avg) does not, in any way shape or form, imply that UCF is was or will be the "MAC's *****." The Mickey Mouse and FUC jokes are gay. And C-USA will bring UCF more fortune, whether you are willing to admit it or not.

and to answer your three questions, I admit we didn't WIN all our games. UCF was defeated only by the two teams last year who got to the championship. And to whom beat UCF by 3 and 5 points. If the MAC was such a great conference, there would have been a 3rd bowl tie-in for UCF to go to last year.

MAC has come along way in the past few years, but it just does not work for UCF. I don't think there should be any animosity. We have another year for MAC teams to get a warm place to play in the fall. And We should all try to enjoy it while we still have the competition.

Congrats to BG on the MACC birth. Have fun with Miami. That is a fierce team.

Still had 2 other MAC teams with better records than UCF; BG at 9-3 and NIU at 8-4, and a Miami team with the same record of 7-5 as UCF.

All smack aside;

I just don't see how going to C-USA is a better fit for UCF or Marshall. I would be able to understand better if these teams that are leaving for the Big East and TCU and Houston(possibly) going to the MWC, were staying. Aren't the travel expenses going to be more?(prolly be the same or close to it). With all these teams leaving I think the level of competition drops dramatically, don't you? This is definitely going to be a one team domination by Marshall if they keep getting the talent like they do over the past 7 or 8 years, until UCF gets their heads out of their butt. I doubt C-USA will keep 5 bowls once these teams leave after the contracts run out.

Compare attendance and television viewers in the South. Numbers Speak volumes. I don't think the talent level drops much in football. Other sports (even w/out Cinci or Louisville) are an upgrade (UCF doesn't have hockey or LAX). Travel isn't as bad....most of the teams are in major cities. The cities are more attractive for road trips. And Orlando is more accessible for travel from the south. IT makes more sense for UCF than Marshall in my eyes, but Marshall seems to be a southern school and has bible belt attributes. I could be wrong. My prediction is there will be more people in the Citrus Bowl for Southern Miss and Memphis than Bowling Green and Akron.

And Akron would have to beat UCF year in and year out to be their *****.

No, I didn't say you're Akron's *****, I said you are Akron. Two years, 8-8 conference record. Nothing horrible, nothing particularly special. Just like Akron (in FB).

What's that make Ball State??? 4-8 isn't much better that 3-9!!!Teams like Ball State are exactly why we are getting the hell out of this conference. Every team has bad years...at least we haven't had consistently bad season with no hope of ever getting better..........have fun without UCF or Marshall, no wonder you all want us to sign the playoff petition....god knows the mac will never be a BCS conference
