Why bother doing a watch anymore, the majority of fans seem content to be stuck with a mediocre coach and a mediocre record. 7-5 is a joke with the Zip schedule. Wins over the crap of division 1 football, including at least two teams who have fired their coaches in-season speak volumes. Lose to the Zips and you are in line to lose your job. EMU and UCF have already fired coaches. Buffalo should be making a move by the end of the year as will Ohio. Only CMU, Howard and Cal-Poly will keep coaches on board who lost to Akron.

And what do the Zip fans get? Another year of buildup from the Akron U spin doctors about a great recruiting class and how much better this year's team will be only to take a big dump on us next fall. Akron U never beats any team which is decent and is without a major injury problem, ala Leftwhich last year during the Marshall game. Name another big win in the last 9 years, and don't spout off Navy because they sucked when we beat them.

Owens is crap, his teams only beat crap, and that is the honest truth.

I take issue with your pooh pooh of the Marshal victory last year. Zips earned it, it was not handed to them by the Leftwich injury,,,,remember he did hobble back on the field in the thiird and lead them to a score. you wann know why Zips won...emotion. Dont knpw if it was srlf generated or created by the staff. I do know thats the had coaches primary job, to motovate. Dont knpw if i can give him the credit or not.
