The Murray State University Women's Volleyball team is hosting a free tournament in Murray, Kentucky to assist with Hurricane Katrina relief efforts in Alabama. The University of South Alabama volleyball team will play in the tournament. In lieu of admission, MSU is asking for bottled water, food and toiletry donations that will be boxed up and shipped down to Mobile on the So. Alabama team bus. If you live in the Jackson Purchase area, please consider coming to the tournament, see MSU, So. Alabama and Youngstown State play, and help with the relief efforts.

Tourney is this Friday and Saturday at Racer Arena. Here's the schedule:

The Helping Hands Classic begins on Friday at 1 p.m. when South Alabama faces Youngstown State. The Racers open their season at 4 p.m. against Youngstown State, then take on South Alabama at 7 p.m. On Saturday, South Alabama plays Youngstown State at 10 a.m., followed by Murray State against South Alabama at 1 p.m. and the Racers against Youngstown State at 4 p.m. There is no admission charge.
