A game without much appeal, maybe should not have been played but they had fun. Score was something like 111 to 58. (plus or minus)
This team will suprise. It will be fun. It is underestimated. This is the deepest, most athletic team at Kent in my memory. I did not say that it was the best team.
Big John is still Big John. He really has a head problem. He has a very athletic body and a very unathletic temperament. I would not count on him in the clutch. He will, be necessary and will help some. Everyone else can really play. This team seems to enjoy defense. That is good, however, they tend to overplay at times.. Coach Jim seems to have matured. He is substituting very liberally. This will make the team better. Do not count the Flashes out this year. Tradition is a wonderful thing. This team can play a full season without wearing down. Not like last year.

BTW, spoke to Trevor Huffman at the game.

Great news on the game! Any word on attendance? Wow, that was an early start. Should have made it a double header with f-ball tomorrow.

How is THuff? Not playing in Europe this year? Is he done with B-ball?

Thanks for the report! It supports what Coach C. said in an interview in Kent State Sports News; essentially that the team was deep enough to rotate players though most all positions. This should help with experience and legs down the stretch. As we all recall, this was missing last February.

How is Trev?

Coach C. also reports that Andrew Mitchell is playing in Sweden this year. Good luck, Drew!

FlashFan, how does one access this publication? It sounds like something I would be very interested in reading.

This may be a sore subject for this board, but I will answer your question. In an effort to drive up membership, the Blue and Gold organization creates publications for members. It also goes to Varsity K members. That's what I know.
