CMU's next game: versus 0-2 Santa Clara. The Dons feature a lineup in size similar to CMU and come in averaging just 47 ppg. The Dons have also been good defensively, however, allowing only 54.5ppg to Hawaii and Villanova, and Santa Clara lost to 'Nova in OT.

Matchup to watch: Gerrit Brigitha vs. 6'8", 230lb Sr. C Jim Howell, who had 10 points and four boards against Hawaii (no stats yet on today's game). Gerrit is coming off a great 13 point, 12 rebound effort against Ohio State. CMU G Kevin Nelson could continue his double-figure assault, as he's scored 17 and 10 points in the first two games.

I listened to the OSU broadcast of the game on my way to Ft. Wayne to see the Flashes manhandle the Mastodons of IPFW.
It was surprisingly low-key about the Buckeye's chances. I don't think they took the Chipps lightly--and well they shouldn't because they are not very good and shouldn't take anyone lightly.
I thought you guys were going to finish that last run at them, but just didn't get the stop you needed then had a turnover.
Man, I would have loved to see you guys take them out. Anything that hurts their post-season chances.
