ESPN ANNOUNCES BRACKET BUSTER FIELD
Sun Belt represented by Arkansas State, UL Lafayette, New Orleans and Western Kentucky
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Louisiana at Lafayette and Western Kentucky University, winners of the last six Sun Belt Conference Men’s Basketball Tournaments, will lead a four-team league contingent in the fourth annual ESPN Bracket Buster Series, as announced today by the league office.
The Ragin' Cajuns and Hilltoppers, both home teams, will be joined by the University of New Orleans and Arkansas State University. It will be the second time the Privateers have participated in Bracket Buster and the first for Arkansas State. The Indians and Privateers are designated as road teams for the event.
"Bracket Buster has always been a great opportunity for the Sun Belt Conference and our individual institutions," said league Commissioner Wright Waters. "The chance to play on national television against a quality opponent is immeasurable and the help it gives on scheduling is also a plus."
