works fine for me........

all it is is a video game screen that shows what appears to be a Herd player catching a pass and a BSU player looking on helplessly on the ground......

Tried it under a different browser window and now it comes up.

That is actually a Miami player. So we know it's fiction, like most video games.

My bad......

I should have immediately realized they'd never put a BSU player on something like this for a promotion.

It did look kind of like the little cardinal on the guys helmet though for a second.......

You assume I really give a crap what a stinking video game chooses to put as an example on some obscure web page...

I'll grant you that Miami's and BSU's uniforms look similar, though... (or at least, they used to before Miami went with those ridiculous Arena-League-looking things last year...)

I wasn't an initial fan of Miami's current uniforms, but the players like them and they seemed to coincide with Arena-like point production, so who's to argue?

Not any more fictitious than all of those recent Ball State MAC West titles. 03-razz

That ties you with Miami and BG for fourth place for most division titles.

If you click on the play button, the display cycles through a series of screens showing different teams of the MAC.

I am curious as to why only the MAC, of the 5 non-BCS conferences, shows up on the menu above the image. Are the other 4 not included in the game software, or is it just an artifact of the display that has omitted them?

So, what's up with the gold stripes on the shoulders of the UCF jerseys? Does EA sports know something, or did their artists just decide to "add" some stripes to our jerseys?

Funny. Don't recall seeing you in the MACC that year but I'm getting old so my memory could be failing me. Remind me again what your record was in 2001. Oh yeah. I don't need to have a good memory. College Football Data Warehouse has the score of every college team in every game they've ever played. So, let me remind you of powerhouse Testicle Tech's remarkable (sic) record that year:

Ball State 0, Auburn 20
Ball State 20, Kentucky 30
Ball State 39, I-AA NORTHERN IOWA 42
Ball State 20, Miami (OH) Redskins 28
Ball State 35, EMU 14
Ball State 24, Toledump 20
Ball State 10, UConn 5 (at least you beat that I-AA team)
Ball State 38, CMU 35
Ball State 18, Kent 31 (blown out by Kent is never something to be proud of
Ball State 29, NIU 33
Ball State 35, WMU 31

Record of 5-6 with a loss to a I-AA team, a 5 point win over another I-AA team, and a blowout loss, at home, to the Golden Flushes. Toledump, OTOH, went 8-2 during the regular season (someone want to explain the 10 game season to me?) and played in the MACC and a bowl game.

You can scream co-champion all you want. Call me back when Testicle Tech is one of the teams that actually gets to play in the championship game.

A 4-3 MAC record makes you a division co-champion? I think that was back when the MAC had the horrible format where cross-divisional games had no effect on standings. The fact that BSU could tie a UT team with a 6-2 MAC record for a "co-championship" just shows why the MAC made the wise change of having all conference games count. If BSU actually has a banner up for 2001 I will 03-puke . In the same light, I don't like that we have "2000 West division champions" painted in the Glass Bowl. As far as I am concerned their is only one division champion and they get to play in the MAC title game.
