No, "One for the thumb in 2001" is cheesy. Having a bunch of thugs dress up like bikers is cheesy. Kelly green on kelly green is cheesy.

Odd - you're in for a rude awakening. Wait until you hear the slogans being kicked around for 2004.

"Taking Back the MAC with another NFL Quarterback"
"Mercy no more for 2004"
"HERD dominance to restore in 2004"
"Unfinished Business. Can I get a Witness?"
"One more time around in this conference a$$ clown."
"One More in 2k4!"
"Off to Greener Pastures Tour"
"The last sMAC down"

Are you sure that's not going to be: "Can someone off a witness for us?"

Huskie- I'm not quite sure, but I believe the Rev. Al Sharpton came up with that one?

Well, if we're talking about slogans for Marshall students, maybe you should stick with the classic, one you will know all too well in a couple years:

"Would you like fries with that?"

Or another West Virginia classic:

"Some call it incest, but I call it love!"

How so?

Excuse me, this is my first year of MAC fandom... I am a recent convert from the Big Ten, so I don't know what a "typical" MAC fan is...

Hey...welcome to the MAC and the MACbbs!

It's just that, well, most of us despise the Big 11 because so many times we have MAC alums who support Big 11 schools/sports more than their own. So...your moniker was suggestive of just that. That's all.

Well, I am a Big Ten alum who supports the MAC. I can't say that I support the MAC schools more than my own because, as you might be able to tell from my handle, I am a UM alum and a UT grad student (just for this semester, but still). Next year, I will be at a Big Ten or SEC school, but I am always going to follow the MAC because it has everything the Big Ten doesnt. Namely, true passion.

The UT-Pitt game made me a Rocket for life. I still love UM and all that, but UToledo will always be my favorite.

Come on now...
