The rumors are flying on the Penn State board that Jay Paterno is going to be named the new Offensive Coordinator at Akron!

Footballscoop.com said the new Akron OC would be Jim Pry from Duke? Still nothing on GoZips.com, so I assume no one has signed on the dotted line. They're pretty good about posting things immediately after they're "official." 03-confused

Ohio has a new Offensive Corrdinator......Phil Earley the former OC at Nevada. Very impressive numbers from Earley's offense, including offenses ranked in the top 15.

I'd rather be Earley than late.

The option is dead.
