I think C-USA should look at the Devry Institute of Technology and National Louis University after FUC is kicked out for lying about their qualifications on the entrance application...
Thoughts?

Judging by most UCF posters on this board the school has a huge inferiority complex. The powers that be at UCF are nuttier than a fruitcake if they think they can actually achieve respectability in football and be close to par with mega powers Miami (FL), Florida and Florida State. Unless UCF is bent on severely compromising academic requirements for its athletes (I've been told you don't exactly need to be Rhodes scholar material to apply to begin with) or finding a foolproof means to dole out bribes to recruits, I don't like their chances very much.

Marshall I will miss. UCF good riddance.

UCF is an embarrassment to the rest of the MAC which prides itself on putting academics first and operating in professional and ethical manner.
Lets not even get into the hiring of Mr. Resume George O'Leary for nearly a million dollars. For all of the UCF guys who are bent on taking a pot shot at the MAC, at least the MAC is a conference comprised of schools with a moral compass and who know right from wrong. Hiring O'Leary must be sending a great message to all those UCF seniors in the midst of preparing their resumes to find a job in the spring.
Pass the white-out please.

If an inferiority complex is having to respond to crap like this then I definitely have one. UCF is much harder to get into than NIU for sure and that's for regular students. And, now with O'Leary the standards for athletes are higher than NIU's as well (<a href='http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/college/knights/orl-sptucfrecruit11011104jan11,1,5155591.story?coll=tf-knights' target='_blank'>A different recruiting campaign</a>) -- before they were basically the same because of the NCAA minimum req., except you could enroll nonqualifiers. Our fall 2003 average SAT score for incoming freshmen was 1,180 (25 ACT and 3.9 GPA) [<a href='http://www.iroffice.ucf.edu/commondataset/commondataset03/commondataset03.htm#admission' target='_blank'>another link</a>]. They are projecting an average of 1,200 for this fall. I could see if you were a Redhawk, Bobcat or Buffalo fan talking $hit, but NIU? Come on now. BTW, we do have a Rhodes Scholar and we've only been around since 1963. How about you?
Finally, you guys get 15K applications for freshmen admissions because your football team had a great season and they write articles about it. We get over 20K high school applications a year regardless.
