Quote:there's that whole NCAA finding that players were being given answers to tests.

It was a freakin study guide that was handed out to the entire class!!!!!!!!! Im so sick of hearing about this crap. Study guides are handed out all across the nation. Seriously some of you people act like it was a class of only athletes and they were given every answer.

Quote:And it's also why Randy Moss ended up there after getting kicked out of BOTH Notre Dame and FSU.

Rnady Moss was NEVER in Notre Dame. The backed out when he kicked the crap out of the little fool that dropped the "N-Bomb" on him. Im my opinion Im sure many people would do the same thing if you were in his spot. Rand, WV is not exactly a hotbed for African Americans. Not to mention now defunct DuPont High school.

FSU...different story. Moss smoked Weed when he was on probation...pure idiot.

There have been others, but I wouldnt be surprised to see many arrests at other Universities.

Also. Innocent until proven guilty??????

We live in a world of Guilty until proven innocent.

I was all for Jon Wauford getting the boot until I sat back and thought about being in his shoes. Sure he busted that fool, but I would of to in that situation, yet people here at MU were calling for his head.

I for one like to let courts handle things then if punishment is still needed then let it rip.

remember just becasue you read a story about someone getting arrested doesnt mean he is guilty of anything until it is proven in court.

That is why lawyers are a wonderful thing.

Do I condone Stan Hill getting wasted and raising hell at Burgar King?? I for one dont give a crap, but other people do. These same people dont cry about other students who may get into the same type of trouble, yet someone who plays a sport needs EXTRA punishment????

I say let the courts handle things that are against the law and if extra punishemnt is needed then Im sure things will happen.

Either way coaches are going to handle things the way they see fit and Imk sure they could give a damn either way we see it.

No, it was not. It was given to the entire class after people COMPLAINED about the athletes having been given the ANSWERS to the test. Had a study guide been given to every student, per the Hurd party line, it would not have even been a violation.

Marshall's NCAA violations were NOT innocent mistakes. Anyone reading the NCAA report gets a very clear picture of what went on, not to mention an indication of what they suspected went on. Hurd fans who claim otherwise are ignorant fools.

One does not have a constitutional right to play college football.

Institutional control.
I thought this board was different and people didn't put such half-truths and outright lies on here. Amazing that someone holds that much hate to spread mistruths and lies. I guess you forgot to mention that the :test" situation was years ago, Chad P. was in the class, and the fact that the guy was fired!..not suspended and moved around, but fired.

Too much totally wrong with the "facts", but the last point is amusing. So it is ok for grwn men in charge of young men to break laws and hurt others, but if a young man does something he should be made an example of. What a joke. Elcess makes a mistake and decides to move on and try to do better and that is wrong, but these grown men can move into other positions collecting even more money and it is ok. Wow.
