Drama queen? Can you blame him? He did the team a favor by coming back and they didn't do a damn thing to improve the team for next season. That's a slap in the face to one of the greatest QB's of all time. The guy just wants to win.. unlike a certain Bears player who is only worried about $$

No doubt I'd take him on my team. At least Favre has his priorities in order when it comes to football.

If he's so upset, why doesn't he just retire before the season starts? And don't call Favre coming back a favor when he is getting $11 million to play this year.

I dunno... love of the game? Believe it or not there are still a few athletes in the game today that play for the love of the game.

You think Aaron Rodgers and his mediocre arm and shattered ankle could do better?

No, I don't. But if Favre would have retired, the Packers had other options and could have made trades for Matt Schaub or Trent Green or even drafted Brady Quinn. It shouldn't be Brett Favre or bust for the Packers.

Favre is not getting paid to make personnell decisions he is paid to throw the football (unfortunately for GB more often into the other team's hands during the past 3 or 4 years). I'm frankly getting tired of this guy. He basically delays the rebuilding process of Green Bay by 5 years by not retiring and now he is upset Green Bay is not making certain moves? Hypocrite if you ask me.

Favre for Briggs, Grossman, Benson, Berrian, Olsen, 2nd day pick.

Sounds good to me.

Hilarious! I do feel bad for Rodgers, perhaps if he would have been drafted by a different team his career could be an entirely different story. He was drafted in 05 as a first round draft pick and has played a total of 5 games and has only thrown the ball 30 times. How can anyone judge him???? No quarterback in Green Bay is going to be able to live up to Green Bay fans expectations after the hill billy leaves.

Agreed. Rodgers never had a chance in Green Bay and he'd be better off if he got released or traded and got a new start somewhere else. Unless some QB comes in to Green Bay and just is lights out, no QB ever has a chance in that city.

Those talks are over with. Unless he changes his mind again (although according to him, he never REALLY wanted to be traded), he's a Packer.

But yeah IF he were to get traded my money is on Miami.

You would think a veteran like Favre would understand a player like Moss only destroys teams (see Minnesota and Oakland). A player that selfish will never be part of a championship team. Granted GB is in a world of trouble with what they have now, but getting a Randy Moss would have been inconsequential, unless it completely destroyed the team, it certainly would not help. Moss is washed up. There is noone that really is in position to challenge Chicago this year in the NFC North.

That's not true at all. Moss was VERY open to the fact of coming to Green Bay. He would've only stayed with the Pack for as long as Favre was there, so it was a safe investment. A WR tandem of Moss, Driver, and Jennings would've been a great WR set.

Favre was 100% correct in criticizing Thompson. It made absolutely no sense to not go after Moss. We had an outside chance of challenging the Bears for the division if we added a couple of playmakers. Our defense is going to be pretty good, but we have absolutely no targets for Favre besides Driver and Jennings (if he stays healthy).
