Was there any way that ASU could have won without Chris McFarland vs ChattaNoogie?
Of course Shawn Hall threw in 28 pts, but McFarland shot 9 of 10 from the field, 3/3 from the charity stripe, and 1/1 treys.
Just unbelievable vs a good team like ChattaNoogie. 04-cheers

I see that UTC just got upset by Wofford last night. Wonder if there was some carryover from our game there.

I like that we're getting a lot of scoring but it's not all three pointers. We're number three in the nation in scoring, number ten in FG percentage, but we don't touch any of the three-point categories. That, to me, is a good thing. Don't need to be reliant on the bombs all the time to win.

Absolutely. What i was referring to was that Chris had a near perfect all around game. Only one shot from having a perfect night, yet played TREMENDOUS team ball.
Highly unusual in today's game.

Well, that's one good thing (if there is one) about not being one of the "big boys". Chances are that players more willing to 1) stay four years and 2) play in the team concept will come to us mid-majors.

And an uptempo style of play is a good system to attract kids to ASU. I think so far Houston's got a winning formula on his hands.

Now as long as this team doesn't get too big a head, they should do just fine. My one big worry is that we'll have won so much in a row that we'll become complacent somehow.

Agree 100 pro, BNG. I'm worried even about G-W beating us at our place as we're sandwiched in between two crucial SoCon matches and having only slipped by them by the skin of our teeth in Boone. Waay scary. It would just absolutely make the Tangled Webb's season.
